Jessica waited patiently for me to finish with Kenya.
The police left, taking Tommy's body with them. I sighed, relieved but still pissed off.
"Sookie, I understand if you want to have time to yourself after that . . ." Jessica started, leaving her statement open-ended, leaving it up for me to decide.
"Jess, the last thing I want right now is to be alone. Trust me, it's fine. Stay as long as you want. I am feelin' a little grubby though. I'll have to take a quick shower and I'll be right out, okay?"
She nodded, smiling, "Ya, it's totally fine Sookie!"
I smiled lightly back while I headed towards the bathroom, speeding off into th

His lips gently spread into a smile without exposing his teeth. He started to walk with his unusual posture on a dirt path that led us around the woods near Merlotte's. I stood next to him feeling more comfortable the more we walked. As we walked away, I could feel Sam's tangle of worried thoughts reach my head for only a moment and it was gone. All I could feel was the quiet that was so relaxing. How relaxing it was, was apparently very obvious because the next thing he said was:
"You like the quiet, don't you?"
His head turned slightly to the left, eyebrow raising.
Because the fact that I couldn't read his mind, it was hard t
I knew I was dreaming because the edges of my vision were black and everything was blurry-like someone had just come up and knocked me on my ass. It looked like I was always moving forward, but with each movement I only went backwards. The beginnings of my dreams were always like this. Nothing is in focus enough for me to tell what's going on, everything I see gets clouded and my head feels clogged, like I have a cold. I can tell I'm running, but I don't know where. Slowly, I feel myself settling into the image. Into the re-created model of me made by my mind. I feel my shoes landing on the soil beneath my feet, and th

So lately I've been writing a TON! It's been great, I mean, I always do love it and it's been even more the past few days. However, editing comes next and that can be a pain sometimes. So, I'm working on it as much as I can, (music is helping immensely) and my goal is to be posting stuff within the next few days. So look for the new chapters of Hours Till Dawn! Can't wait to share with you all! :D
I got my whiteboard set up today at my desk and drew out the entire plot of the story I'm currently working on. It felt great to finally dump all of my ideas out onto something and to see it organized. This really helped me see what parts I needed to work on and gave me a place to start! Lastly, writing is amazing and I love it. That's all. ;)
